Enamel

I chose enamel as my graduation theme. In school, I learned that enamel is like painter’s color pigment, except that we use them to color metals. But I am not content with just ‘drawing’ the enamel on ‘canvas’.

Enamel is something more than color pigments. I want to show more possibilities about enamel / enamel jewelry through my works. Out of curiosity, I peeled the enamel off the metal, but when I looked at the enamels that were peeled off, I wondered what exactly is enamel? The enamel without metal base looks like glass. How does enamel differ from glass? I think it’s metal that makes enamel more enamel.

Exhibition

The exhibition takes place in the oldest building in Gothenburg – Kronhuset

In the exhibition I only showed 3 of my works. Mainly because I feel like they speak the same ‘language’.
